It's time for the last Disney, Indiana podcast for 2012. But before we say hello to 2013, our hosts need to wrap up their Salute to Shorts series. For December's segment, they take a look at some of the many educational shorts made by the Walt Disney company over its history. They provide some background and review some of the more interesting ones.
Also this month, Scott and Tracey have some more Christmas related audio from their trip to Walt Disney World earlier this month. Don't let the singing in the intro scare you away, the music does get much, much better!
In this bonus episode, Scott and Tracey share some holiday audio from their recent Walt Disney World trip. They include sets from the Voices of Liberty, an acapella group from the American Adventure pavilion at Epcot; Mulch, Sweat, and Shears, a rock group that plays on the Streets of America at Disney's Hollywood Studios; and the Main Street Philharmonic, a marching band found on Main Street U.S.A. in the Magic Kingdom. Our hosts will return next week with a regular show.

Spectacular! Incredible! Outstanding! (no, those aren't recent reviews of the podcast).
It's movie time in Disney, Indiana! Tracey and Scott just picked up the new Blu-ray of Marvel's The Avengers this week and they are here with a review of all the goodies packed in the release and some ways to get even more out of the experience!
Their movie watching wasn't restricted to just home video viewing, oh no! They also went out to see the midnight opening of Frankenweenie in 3D IMAX. They've got a review of Disney's latest as well as some of the surprisingly long history of this animated film - all the way back to the original 1984 live action short! Also, if you listen closely, they brought something back from the midnight screening of Frankenweenie and this item will be given away in a new contest!
Our hosts also attempt to get the Main Street Cinema's popcorn machine fixed with a little help from Sweetleaf (as part of his ongoing community service). Will it succeed? Will the smell of fresh buttery popcorn once again waft through town? Will Mortis be happy? Listen in to find out!

Tracey and Scott were on the Mouse Chat Disney podcast. We joined them to reminisce about the original EPCOT Center. We covered such topics as Horizons, World of Motion, Imagination with Figment and Dream Finder, the Living the Seas and much more.

There is a very big announcement today from town square in downtown Disney, Indiana. It's such an unbelievable, earth shattering, game changing announcement that you'll just need to hear it for yourself!
After the dust settles, Tracey and Scott continue with their trip report from the Disneyland resort. They spent a couple days after the Friends of the Magic weekend to play in the parks, celebrate a birthday and spend more time with friends. Also, besides talking about the parks, they share their experience riding the train all the way from California to Indiana - two and half days on the rails!

Tracey and Scott have left Disney, Indiana to attend the Friends of the Magic gathering at the Disneyland Resort. They have asked Jessica, the master control program that runs Disney, Indiana, to fill in for them for this episode.
Jessica shares with you a recording Scott and Tracey made at the Walt Disney World resort back in February of 2011, on a visit to Epcot. Jessica also makes a call over to the Main Street Cinema to check in on Mortis to make sure he's not misbehaving while Tracey and Scott are out of town. Hello everyone and welcome to a very special episode, number 100! For this milestone episode our hosts decided to cover something near and dear to co-host Scott's heart. That's right, it's time for Wall-to-Wall Roger Rabbit in Disney, Indiana!
They start off in Belle's books with a look at what started it all with a review of Gary K. Wolf's 1981 novel Who Censored Roger Rabbit? After that, they head over to the Main Street Cinema to review the 1988 classic Who Framed Roger Rabbit, directed by Robert Zemeckis and released by Disney-owned Touchstone Pictures. Besides the film, they also review the three Roger Rabbit shorts released to the Big Screen.
Once they finish their popcorn, they return to Belle's to review Gary K. Wolf's follow-up novel Who P-P-P-Plugged Roger Rabbit? and end their journey around Toontown at the Ink and Paint Club to talk about how Roger Rabbit and his pals have been used at the Disney parks around the world.

Hello everyone! In today's episode, the town high mucky-mucks were called away for some very important business out of town and were not available to host the show. But don't fear everyone, as our neighborhood cinema projectionist Mortis was able to fill in and bring you the episode this week.

Well, we don't have much on cabbages and kings, but we do have a lot of Alice to make up for that! In episode number 94 of the Disney, Indiana podcast our hosts get lost in Wonderland and they take a look at both the 1951 and 2010 Disney Alice and Wonderland films. They take a look at each film's creation, story, music and history before they put them head to head to find out which they enjoy more.
Buzzy over at WWED joins in the madness as well by sharing some songs from both Alice in Wonderland versions, including a rare recording from the 1950 Disney special "One Hour in Wonderland".
Tracey and Scott are not finished with Alice after they leave Wonderland either. They turn their attention to the Alice Comedies created by Walt Disney in the 1920s in this month's Salute to Shorts segment.
